::**OH YEAAAAA!!**::

I was sitting at work, bored out of mind, and realized after reading old blogs that I haven't updated you guys on a few things!!! So... that's what this blog is all about... Just a few updates!!

Remember I told you guys that I had a gig last week?! It went well!!! We didn't rehearse until the day before... which I HATE doing! I'm a perfectionist when it comes to playing. That may have a lot to do with me caring sooo much about what people think about me... If I were to mess up, my whole world is JACKED!!!! BAD NEWS!!! The bridge of my guitar broke the day before as well... so I had to play my roommates electric guitar! I wasn't happy about that at all. I mean... YES, I plan to be the next Orianthi Panagaris, but I'm not there yet! I don't have the skills for that thing! The electric guitar is not meant to be played like an acoustic guitar... and that's pretty much what I had to do that day!!! UGH!! Anyway... it's over... and everyone enjoyed it. I heard that from my mentor. She wasn't even there... so that's good!... The sucky part of all of this is my guitar is sick! ;( I haven't had time to check out how much it will cost to get her fixed... but I will definitely be doing that in the near future. In the meantime, that artist I told you guys about will be painting my guitar on Friday! Ha... BOO-YAAAHHHHH!!! I'm pretty geeked about that!

Hold up... WEIGHT A MINUTE!!!

Did you gain the weight?!

Sooo... yea... about that!!! lol... The DAY after I wrote about my AMAZING plan to gain weight... I got crazy sick. I'm talkin'... vomiting and pooping (sorry...T.M.I.?!) all over the place! lol... I was thinking it was just some virus... My friend Sabrina seems to think I went a little overboard with the change in my eating habits... I never found out what exactly the cause was... but I gave up on my plan. I have gained 5lbs tho!!!!!! BOO-YAAAHHH! <--- (yep, you get another one of those!) My pants are fitting better and my stomach is big again! LMBO!!! gross, right!? Well, my friend Renee and I decided to workout together! I'm pretty excited about it. I don't see myself doing anything hardcore because my muscles tone up very masculine like! LOL So... I'll be doing a little cardio here and there... and some floor exercises! I'll keep you guys updated on that as well!

FASHION CRISIS

Umm... that dress?! Stuck it in the closet for another occasion. I exchanged the sizes and it's cute on... but it isn't THE DRESS!!! lol I'm trippin or something!... I need to be completely satisfied with my outfit or else I will have the worst time. I know me! So... I'm looking again. My boyfriend wants us to shop together on Wednesday... I really am discouraged... I HATE being so EXTRA long sometimes... but I may go. It'll be fun shopping with him... try on a dress or two for him and make his day! HA!

That modeling thing didn't work out! Turns out they were one of those agencies that wanted to take all of your money and then show you a thing or two! NOT INTERESTED!... moving on!

DUDE!!! I found a new hobby!!! PAINTING MY NAILS!!! lol Weird, right?! Ever since I saw this nail tutorial on YouTube I've been trying new things with my nails. Now that I don't work at Olive Garden anymore I can paint my nails ANY COLOR and not have to worry about getting in trouble for it! I'll post pics every now and then! I've only done two designs so far!!! Here ya go!

"I GOT TO SAY...

... TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY!!!"

*in my ICE CUBE voice!!! LOL*

(HAPPY 69th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!)

... BUT bump that! My whole weekend was good! ;) I went home for my grandma's... *clears throat* excuse me... GRANDMOTHER'S (she's bourgeois! lol) surprise birthday party. It ended up being a lot of fun. My mom and aunt planned this about a month ago... I was pretty hype about celebrating another year with the best grandma... umm... grandmother EVER!

The party was at Panera Bread! I wasn't too excited about that... but.. HEY!... it wasn't my party! A lot of her close friends came as well as a few of my cousins and godmothers. It was an all girl's event. My grandmother was totally surprised and very happy to see everyone! We ate... laughed... cried!!! It was great! My aunt thought it would be a good idea to share funny or memorable memories that we had of our grandma. Most of them were stories of how great she is! It brought her to tears. I try to be extra hardcore and hold back my tears most of the time... but when my grandma...mother cries it's like I can't hold them back to SAVE MY LIFE! Her crying makes me cry every time! lol I HATE it! A few ppl mentioned her two best friends that she lost last year. That broke her down for real! I can only imagine how hard it was for her to celebrate her birthday without her closest girlfriends!!! After everyone spoke, it was pretty much time to go. Of course she couldn't say goodbye without thanking everyone and giving words of wisdom! She is sooo full of wisdom! She spoke on relationships! Something I definitely needed a little advice on! One thing that stuck to me was... "If you want your husband to treat you like a queen, you must first treat him like the king that he is." What man wants to honor a woman, who doesn't honor him! That's the secret of her and my granddad's relationship! HE TREATS HER LIKE A QUEEN!!! In the morning, her coffee is made before she wakes up, he runs her bath water when she's coming in from work... and he does it because he LOVES HER! And she turns right around and caters to his every need! I LOVE IT!!! I pray that one day I will be that to my husband. Not only because I want it in return... but because he deserves to know how special he is to me!!! YYYYEEESSSSSS, GRANDMA!!! (<---I give up!... SHOOT! lol)

Uh-oh! I can see this blog getting really long in the near future! I'll cut it short from here!

My grandad wasn't able to spend anytime with her on her birthday so we had a dinner at my aunt's house after church. We invited all of the guys to come! It was so much fun! We played the "remember when" game and nearly died from laughter! MAN, I LOVE MY FAMILY!! We ate GOOODDD too! I miss them already. I think I'm about to start my cycle or something because I'm over here tearing up just thinking about them! UUUGGGHHHH!!! (GET YOURSELF TOGETHER, STIX! SHOOT!) I left a lot sooner than I wanted, but it was raining outside and I wanted to do most of my driving while it was still light outside! I said my goodbyes and then everyone came together and prayed for me! I kept hearing that dang on phrase "We're so proud of you!" Before I could roll my eyes and be discouraged, I remembered something my friend Sabrina told when I talked about this with her. lol She said, "You aint pregnant are ya? Are ya on drugs?! Did you kill a man? NO! YOU DIDN"T! Let them BE proud of you!" She reminded me that they CAN be proud of me! I haven't gone off and gotten pregnant, I've still managed to hold on to my virginity these long and hard 5 years (LOL)... and I'm still doing my best to please God in every aspect of my life! So... instead of rolling my eyes... I smiled and bowed my head to pray!

Ok... I really don't have anything to say... but since blogging is the BOMB!!.. I'm doing it anyway!

I figured out what I'm going to do about the dress!!! I'm going back to exchange it for the S. The small most definitely fits like a potato sack, but I remembered that I'm going home this weekend! I can get my grandma to take it up for me!!! ::sigh:: Don't you just love granny's!! ;) PROBLEM SOLVED!!! I'm officially geeked again about my dress! HA!!

Jeremy and I had a good time on Valentine's Day. He bought me a rose... (I HATE ROSES!!) lol... but I played it off well!!! It's the thought that counts! He made up for it with dinner and a movie though! We went to see "Valentine's Day!"... go figure! It was a lot better than I thought it would be!!... It actually had a good story line! I didn't expect that at all... and of course it was funny!

Umm... what else! Gotta gig on Wednesday... haven't practiced... and I have NO IDEA what i'm wearing! Not good...

BUMMER!!!

Ok...

I made plans NOT to blog again until after Valentine's day!!! Notice that I wished you all a Happy V-day yesterday! lol

Well, I'm a bit frustrated!!! Let me tell you why...

I met up with my friends A.J. and Stacey at the Green Hills mall. I was going to shop... specifically for Jeremy for V-day... Stace was helping A.J. find a thing or two to jazz up her wardrobe a bit. I had a good time... but I still haven't gotten Jeremy anything. I didn't really know what to get him at the time... I was hoping it'll just jump at me! DIDN'T HAPPEN... lol... but I think I know what I'm going to do now!

So yea.. We went into just about every store... lol.. ok, maybe not that many... but we went to quite a few. I bought a cute shirt from Banana Republic that was on sale. I'm pretty sure it'll be my favorite summer shirt this year... So simple, so me!!! lol It's just a tee with navy blue and gray stripes... Can't you just see me in those with some "hole-y" jeans! LOL... I can... CAN'T WAIT!

We also visited a store called, "United Colors of Benetton." I had no intentions on finding anything there. I was just there with the girls... Well, there was a cute dress hanging up that I thought would be cute for a wedding that I'm going to in March. It's a form-fitting, gray dress with cute little detailed stitching. I tried on the XS and everyone thought it was perfect. It does fit really well.... maybe a little too well. I was a bit unsure if it were appropriate for the event tho. I thought it was wayyy too tight! Stacey, A.J., and the salesman seemed to think otherwise. Although, ol' boy's opinion didn't count much! He just wanted to make that money! I ended up buying the dress. I got home, tried it on again, and was not as pleased with it as I was before. It's not long enough... and IT'S TOO TIGHT! My friend Courtney came by and took pics of me in the dress!... and she agrees with me! She thinks that it's too short! Unfortunately, I can't go back and get a refund... I would have to exchange it for something else. I think I'll go back and try on the S again... I didn't like the fit so much when I tried it on earlier... IDK... we'll see!!!

HERE'S WHERE MY FRUSTRATION LIES!!!! THIS is why I don't even bother buying or looking for dresses! They never fit. It's so IRRITATING!! Either the dress is not long enough, too tight, or it fits like a potato sack. I should have gone with fashion design when I first thought about it in high school. I would love to put out a line that takes into consideration those who are EXTRA broke, EXTRA LONG, AND EXTRA SKINNY!!! lol

I'm almost thinking about wearing a pantsuit to the wedding. I think it would be cute, actually. Jeremy is so against it that he's tryinig to get someone to make me a dress for the wedding. LOL... that boy really wants to see me in a dress!!!

Ugh... I really want to wear one for him... but I just don't see that happening! Anyway... I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I have a few fashion blogger ppl following me! Any advice!? or do you know of a few places IN TN... or ATL that I can go to find a cute dress for a wedding?! I'm going to ATL in the beginning of March. That's cutting it close, but hey... I'm for it if there is anything there. I kind of want the dress to be form-fitting... and go over the knee! lol... Is that asking for too much?!

BLACKBERRY, JOHN MAYER, GIGGIN'... OH MY!!!

What's up, guys?! It's been a minute. I pray all is well with my followers!!! I have a few new things to share with you guys and I'll be on my way!!

I have a new phone guys!!... AND BOY AM I ADDICTED!! It's the new blackberry curve 8530! She has become my new best friend! We're doing everything together these days! lol I've been updating my twitter none stop, checking my email, texting, adding ring tones for my friends, listening to the radio!... lol You name it, I've done it! I LOVE HER! Man... I've had this lame Verizon prepaid phone to help me catch up with other bills for the last few months. I went through this phase where I had to give up some things in order to get my life back together financially!!!... Getting rid of my cool phone was one of those things! Now that I have a new job and making more... I can manage to treat myself a little again! YESSS!!! IT FEELS GOOD! ;) Say hello to my new baby!!! I think I'll call her "Lady Curve!" lol

Remember I told you that my boyfriend bought me tickets to the John Mayer concert for Christmas?! Well... The concert was Wednesday!!! That concert has me on this high!! lol... I don't want to come down!!! JOHN MAYER IS A BEAST ON THE GUITAR!!... You guys know that!!!... He straight up KILLED IT that night! HE SHOWED OUT!!!... and his voice!!! LORD JESUS!!! What a gift?! He is talented all around!!! I really enjoyed myself!!! The band that opened for him was called, " Michael Franti & Spearhead!" They were the bomb too!!! They performed a lot of reggae music! I LOVE reggae music... it was hard to stay in my seat!!! Jeremy showed off a move or two! I was impressed! I found out Jeremy could sing too!!! He has a nice little voice! TOO CUTE!! Anyway...Check 'em out! They were pretty cool!!!

I met a guy on Facebook through my play brother, Kortez, who is an artist! He painted the coolest design on my brother's guitar. I LOVED it so much that I contacted him and asked if he would mind painting on my mine. He asked me a few questions to see what I like... and BAM... he created a design! It's very simple... but PERFECT! The cross of course represents my LOVE FOR CHRIST, the lavender flowers represent my favorite color and my love for playing in the park... the music notes represent WORSHIP! While those are just notes... he's actually going to put the sheet music for my favorite worship song "How Great is our God" in it. He's a musician too... He can read music! THE BOMB!! I have a gig on the 17th so I can't get it to him until after then! I'M SOOO EXCITED!!! ;)

This is a very random blog so bear with me..LAST THING!

A lady from church asked me to write a song for a showcase they were having for Valentine's day about a month ago. She heard a song that I wrote awhile ago and assumed that writing music comes easy for me!!! lol... IT DOESN'T! I don't think that's my gift! I told her this and told her about my friend's A.J. and Sabrina who i knew could help her out in that area! She told me that she would get back to me later... Well, she did... only this time she wanted me to play at her showcase!! I hadn't played in awhile nor did I have a desire to. I went through a few things and wasn't up for playing with people or in front of people. I just wanted to go back to the old days where it was just me and my guitar! Well, I prayed about it and God spoke to me very clearly. I was definitely holding on to something that I needed to let go. I asked my roommate if she wanted to play and she was down for it immediately... I found out that the theme for the song was "Amazing Love"... and I knew right then what song was appropriate. There is a worship song called "Amazing Love" that takes me STRAIGHT IN!! lol... I learned it... presented it to Anjelica... and again... she was down!!! We practiced here and there... and BAM..(IDK what's up with this "bam" stuff lol) showtime came... TONIGHT!

I was nervous... but I had a peace about it all! My boyfriend was there to support me! I needed someone there. I always do! I'm so glad he came! ;) He actually took off from his second job to be there!... LOVE HIM! THANKS, BABE! I'm a perfectionist when it comes to playing. I like to know how I did... if there is something I could do better... whatever!! We had to play twice... Once at 7:30pm and again at 9:30. We were fourth on the list of performers. When our names were called, I spoke while Jel fixed the mics... I was so nervous! I don't remember what I said... I DO remember not being able to put the mic back on the stand! LOL... NER-VOUS!! The first show went smoothly!... Jeremy said the same! He is the most honest person I know... so I expected him to say a lot more... but he said nothing but great things! I was pleased.... YAY, GOD!!... and US!

The second show was a different story. I think we get a little too relaxed when we have to play twice. I know I messed up! I forgot a chord! LOL... I was so upset! I HATE messing up!!! UGH! Whatever... it's over now! I wish Jeremy was there for that show. I had sooo many questions that I wish he could answer for me!!! Anyway... what's done is done! I left before the second show was over. I had to be at work at midnight!!!

... which is where I am now! Overall, I was pleased with our performance. We have to play again on the 17th at an MSK event. I'm not sure what exactly we'll be playing... I'll let you know!!!

Anyway... It's starting to get a little busy at work... so I guess I'll end it here!

I wish you all a HAPPY Valentine's Day!... Remember... it's just the 14th of February! Don't get so caught up in the hype!!! It's not ALL 'DAT!!!!... SHOOT! lol

**My First Bridal Shower**

Guys??? What's up?!

Today was a pretty good day... interesting... awkward... but overall... IT WAS GOOD!

My boyfriend's sister, Kim, is getting married in March. Her family planned a bridal shower for her! It was today! I was so nervous about the event! I kept thinking, "What if I don't pick out the right gift?... Who will I sit by?!... How awkward will this be for me?!" See... pretty nervous!!! When I found out that my friends Melissa and Sabrina were invited, I wasn't as nervous anymore. I knew who I would be sitting by... I wouldn't feel as awkward... and we all were going shopping together!!! It all was working out!!!! YES, GOD!!!

Shopping for a gift was the most awkward thing EVER!!! I'm the biggest kid when it comes to talking about sex or sexy things such as: lingerie... sex toys... blah blah blah!!! I DON'T like it!! I'm sure all of that will go out the window once I'm married... but right NOW... in this here moment... I don't like to talk about it... I don't like to see it... PERIOD! So you know when it was time to shop for lingerie... I was about ready to crawl up under a rock and DIE! Yep... it was that bad. Thank God for Melissa and Sabrina! They made it a little easier...and boy did we laugh a lot during that time... WELL, more like they did a lot of laughing at me! Sabrina ended up buying her a cute little off white lingerie set, and Melissa and I went in together and bought her some kind of edible massage oils(gross), body frosting (EEEWWWW), AND detergent for her lingerie! lol... You know I had A LOT to do with the detergent and nothing to do with the edible sexyness that went in the gift bag! LOL! I could have just gone by myself and just bought the detergent... but I thought it would look better if we put it together... IDK... Anywhoo...

So the bridal shower was great!!! Kim is very blessed to have such amazing women of God to speak into her life. They did a lot of pouring into her... a lot of crying... and a lot of laughing! It was quite adorable! They are the cutest little family... and they love HARD! I love it!!! We ate good... played a few games... and then it was time for the gifts!... MY HEART DROPPED!!! Mind you... these people are HOOOO-LLYYY!!! I didn't know if they were gonna judge us... or what!!! Of course our gifts were one of the first ones she opened! lol GREAT! To make a long story short... our gift was a HIT! She thought it was cool... Her family thought it was the bomb! So hey... GOOD JOB, MELISSA! lol I could breathe a little after that. I was a bit grossed out by the other gifts... but hey... it's her party!!! No need in me acting all retarded about it! I was sooo sleepy toward the end though! I had only gotten two hours of asleep before it was time for me to get up and get ready!!! My body was ready to crash!!!

As we were leaving, Sabrina and I were in the lobby talking by the heater and a lady was posting fliers about a casting call for models, actors... blah blah blah! Well the lady owns a Christian Modeling Agency. As she walked by us she said that we looked like models. I honestly hate when people say that to me!!! I SHOULD see it as a compliment... but it gets so old!... I'M WEIRD! Sabrina told her that she was a model... and I told her that I wasn't... To make this short... she handed us cards and asked us to meet with her. I told her that I had no experience... which is somewhat I lie because I've been signed with two agencies... lol... I just don't think I'm good at it!!! Modeling isn't as easy as it looks. It's hard... You have to be sure you aren't making the same faces in your pictures as well as change up your poses. You have to be sure you're selling the product in the pictures. I'm not that photogenic. Well, I don't try that hard either. If you're not a natural, then you must try! lol I LOVED the runway though. I took classes so I know I can walk. That comes natural for me!!... Ok... that's what I've been told!

I'm a little skeptical about the whole "christian agency" thing! I was signed to one last year, technically I still am, and there was NOTHING christian about it. I remember being interviewed and the lady asked if I drank or cursed. They wanted to make sure we exemplified Christ in every aspect of our lives! MAN... how about this lady cursed like a sailor when she was under pressure. I remember a runway show when a girl was really screwing up... that lady just about cursed her under a bridge!! That made me so mad!!! Don't play God, man!! I've been ignoring her calls and emails ever since. I didn't want to be a part of such a lie! I wish she would just take me off her website! Well anyway... I'll let you guys know if anything happens with this!!! Who knows... this weight loss may be God ordained!!! LMBO!!! WHATEVER!!!

My best friend tweeted not too long ago about her and Jesus! She talked about how she wishes that she and Jesus could just sit outside on the curb and talk!... with her head on His shoulder!!! I loved that!!! Now every time I talk to God I see that! I sometimes imagine that we are sitting outside somewhere... my head on His shoulder... both of us wearing chucks! LOL **WHAT?!* My God can't wear chucks?! His are pure white too!... My color varies!!! lol... ok I'm joking around a little, but I honestly loved that tweet!!! I think about it all the time! I think I'm gonna have this guy paint that vision for both of us! I really want that in my room! ;) I have a few names in mind... "Just the Two of Us", "My Safe Place", "My Secret Place", "Quiet Time"! IDK!! What do you think?! lol... You probably don't even care!!!! Anyway... That's my random moment of the day! ;)

So yea... Life is good!!! I've said this some many times and the fact still remains... I'm not where I want to be in life... but I'm content with the process! I know I'm going somewhere and God wants to do some things through me! I'm just preparing myself for the ride! I'm still attending my "get-away church"... twice a week now and I'm really learning a lot! I'm building new, lasting friendships with people my age who genuinely love God!!! They are all so full of life! I LOVE IT!!! I'm learning to have fun and minister while doing it! It's fun! I feel bad for not sharing this place with my friends... but I feel comfortable doing this alone right now. I have to work out my OWN salvation for myself and right now that means going out on my own to seek God! (Philippians 2:12-16) I'm happy with my decision!... maybe one day, friends!! Anyway... On a Mission...

...15lbs lighter and MAD ABOUT IT! Don't get it twisted! I love being skinny... but I don't like being THIS SKINNY! I wish you guys could see me in my jeans... better yet... in my favorite gray slacks!!! LOL... ONE JUICY MESS!!!! I hate it!!!

So... I'm on a mission to gain 20lbs! lol... **WHAT?!** An extra 5lbs wouldn't hurt, right?! I've been doing some research to help gain the weight back! I thought about going the healthy route... but that's a bit out of the budget right now and it would require me to cook... something I really DON'T want to do!... So... I'm just gonna do it the way I did it before!.... EAT... EAT... and EAT SOME MORE! I calculated how many calories I would need to maintain my weight (1,702 calories) and of course added on to that so I can GAIN weight!!! I'm shooting for 2,202!!! lol I really want to add 1,000 but we'll see what an extra 500 calories will do first!!!

Ok... so yea... that's a lot of calories, right?! I can do it!!! I LOVE TO EAT!... so it's nothing! I even came up with a light work out plan for myself so I won't look too flabby! My friend Sabrina reminded me of what I looked like in my swimming suit last summer!! I AM NOT trying to relive that embarrassing summer! LOL!!

I'm excited about this!! I'm actually using what I learned in school to help me achieve my goal. I'll keep you guys updated on my results!

I didn't eat a lot today :(.. only 1505 calories! I had the worst migraine so didn't eat as much as I planned!!! I've been having these a lot lately! I think it's because of my weird sleeping pattern... Who knows?! I'm going to the doctor about it though. I've never experienced such a HORRIBLE pain!!!... anyway!!!

ooo guess what!!! I ♥ TWITTER!!! My favorite person to follow of course is India Arie! Her tweets are so cool... she tweets often and late at night! Well tonight she was tweeting all of the celebs zodiac signs that she knew... DUDE!! she knows alot!!! Well she mentioned that if anyone requested a sign she would tell the celebs involved! I noticed that she hadn't mentioned Leos yet... I'M A LEO,BTW!!! My exact tweet was: ,"@indiaarie what about leos?!" Guess what... moments later SHE TWEETED ABOUT LEOS!! lol... Ok... so she didn't really talk to me or "@" me or anything... but... she read my tweet! UGH! I LOVE TWITTER!!! HA! One day she's gonna "@" me!!!... and then days later she's gonna FOLLOW ME!!! JUST WAIT!! lol... I'm trippin!!! I can't wait until I'm travelling around the world and tweet about it... and people actually know who I am... YOU DO KNOW that people will know who I am right?! LOL... you betta "AX" somebody! SHOOT!!!
